Cruz came to evaluate the rodent problem at our duplex in Daly City in May 2018. He rodent proofed the exterior of the property where rodents can possibly enter. Traps were placed inside the property, came back a week later and found trace of rats. In subsequent weeks, the schedules with him didn't work out because of limited available time for both parties. Yesterday, I finally offered to meet him at the property. He came on time and went ahead to do his inspection again. The infestation of the rodents has substantially reduced. Tenants were strongly advised to keep the back door closed and to use screen door during warm weather, no food on sight, and garage door closed at all time. We will see if the problem will continue to decrease. Cruz is very confident of his work quality.
Cruz was very punctual and exceeded my expectations with quality of pest control tasks. He identified 5 potential locations for rodent access and shored them up, including making a new trap door for subfloor.. He was punctual with subsequent odors to check traps. I highly recommend has services.
Cruz was really great to work with. He was available quickly, considering our situation was pretty bad. He cleared out all of the contaminated material, sanitized the area and will be coming back to check the traps and ensure the rodents are done for good. I would highly recommend him!
From another pest control inspection, I was notified that I had a "rat" problem. This company specialized in insects (free inspection for another problem inside the house). I went to Thumbtack and put out a bid to see what the cost would be for Rodent removal. Thank goodness I did cause I was able to find and meet Cruz! Cruz instantly responded and we setup a phone call. I let him know of the situation and we setup a time for a free inspection. Cruz came on time as promised (came all the way from Daly City to San Jose in morning traffic). Cruz inspected the premises including the external garage (where droppings were found), and also looked into the Attic and Crawl Space. (Note: The other company did not do that and only offered that inspection after signing up for their service). Cruz looked at the droppings and determined that they were actually mice and not rats! He also gave me a quote that was half of what the other company quoted. Cruz helped me setup all the traps, will come back to monitor throughout the weeks ahead and did a great job proofing all around my home. He also has a satisfaction guarantee! If I have any rodent problems in the future, I'm going to be calling Cruz!
We hired Cruz to trap, proof, and clean up mice and skunk in our crawl space and garage because of all the great reviews on Thumbtack. He just finished the main job and will come back next week to do a final check. We had an extensive problem and he did an excellent job. From the first onsite consultation to all the subsequent visits, Cruz did high quality work, was professional, respected our home, and worked around our schedule. He's also flexible to meet our additional asks: He filled in some holes in our deck foundation where we had seen skunk activity after we asked him; we also just asked him to do some more clean up in one part of the garage and he says he will when he comes back next week. Lastly, he stands by his work; he stressed that if we see any more rodent droppings in the future he will come back.
Cruz showed up as within an hour of when I called to schedule an appointment. He carefully apprised the premises looking for ways the animals could enter and then methodically set about closing those entrances off. He is flexible and personable.
We appreciate and admire Cruz's responsiveness, honesty, and reliability. Cruz did an extremely thorough job rodent-proofing our house despite recovering from the flu! He was extremely thorough in his work and continued to follow up to make sure that the job was completed. We have continued to work with Cruz on other projects outside of Thumbtack and he has been a pleasure to work with, regardless of the size of the job.
It's difficult to find someone to find a quality pest control person with availability. Cruz was very accommodating and responsive. He was able to get me into his schedule immediately for some rodent exclusion work. Other pest control people I have worked with set out traps and leave. They don't look for the root problem, and they do not return to empty the traps or check for new activity. Cruz did both of those things. It's been several weeks and I have not seen any signs of mice. Thank goodness! I hope I never see a mouse again!
Was able to explain the process of rodent proofing to me and was able to catch a couple of mice with traps after initial proofing. I had tried using traps on my own without success. Cruz follows up and checks in after his initial work.
We hired Cruz for a rodent problem. He inspected our house and found many entry locations. One of the entry locations was potentially from a door with a broken hinge. We paid Cruz to close up all the holes but did not expect him to also replace the hinge. He takes his work with pride. He'll be back to check on the traps. But so far...awesome work and very trustworthy!
